Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 August 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MedSkills website and the LMS with e-learning content for hospitals (together, the "Services"), operated by MedSkills, a unit of MedXL Ventures Private Limited. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who may use the Services

The Services are intended for hospitals, medical institutions and their authorised staff, and for individuals enquiring about our offerings. You confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation.

2. Accounts and access

Where accounts are provided, you are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Courses, content and certificates

Courses are offered at the prices shown on the website (currently ₹3,000 per course per learner, unless otherwise agreed in writing). Course content, assessments and certificates are provided for training and professional-development purposes. Certificates confirm completion of a MedSkills course and do not, by themselves, constitute a statutory licence, registration or accreditation.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the Services, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or disrupt their operation.
  • Do not copy, resell or redistribute course content except as expressly permitted.
  • Do not upload unlawful, infringing or harmful material to the platform.

5. Intellectual property

All content, software, branding and materials provided through the Services are owned by MedSkills, MedXL Ventures Private Limited or their licensors, and are protected by law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Services for their intended purpose. Content that a hospital uploads remains that hospital's property.

6. Payment

Fees, billing and refund arrangements are as set out at purchase or in a separate agreement with your organisation. Applicable taxes may be added.

7. Third-party platform

The LMS may be delivered on an underlying whitelabelled platform. Your use of such features may also be subject to reasonable operational requirements communicated to you.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for accurate, up-to-date clinical and compliance content, the Services do not replace professional judgement, statutory obligations or independent verification. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedSkills and MedXL Ventures Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or where necessary to protect the Services or other users.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have jurisdiction, subject to any separate written agreement.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For questions, contact info@medskills.in.
